i spent some time today going through photos from the past few months so i thought i would share some.

at the pumpkin farm. it was really cold and windy but jace had fun playing and picking out his very own pumpkin.

jumping on the tramp in november. it was so warm we didn't even need jackets.
a goldfish casserole that jace made for our "campout" in the living room. he loves to play in the kitchen and cook food for us. he happened to get lucky this day because i left the goldfish out. he usuallydoesn't get to use real food.

breaking the pinata and seeing santa at our family christmas party.
playing in the snow at grandma's house. after a week of zero degree days it finally warmed up and snowed.

bought 504 size 1 diapers (it's been a year since the last time i bought diapers)
threw away 2 garbage bags full of saved momentos from young women's, high school and college
threw away 3 garbage bags full of 4 years (for me) and 6 years (for jared) of lots of hard work and time while at byu
loaded my trunk with things for the d.i. (it's the second load this week)
boxed up 5 years worth of byu paraphernalia, clothes and shoes to put in storage
and pulled out all our baby stuff!

things i should have blogged about in december:
a great thanksgiving holiday with jared's brothers and their families. shopping, eating, lights at temple square and lots of playing.
jared and jace going rock climbing at the quarry. jace made it a whole 8 feet up which is pretty high for a 3 foot little guy.
my family christmas party in malad. sugar cookies, pinata's and santa clause.
jace's friend christmas party. gingerbread houses, christmas music, a furreal pet, and a big mess of toys, candy and frosting.
christmas in malad and how magical kids make christmas. how fun it is to be santa and how hard it was for all of us to wait for christmas morning to come.
and i'm sure there is so much more...

i had my 32 week appointment yesterday. the baby is measuring at 33 1/2 weeks. jared says i better just get prepared for a big baby. i am hoping she will just come early.
the baby is in constant motion. jace was pretty calm in utero and didn't move much. not very many people ever got to feel him move and you definitely could not see him moving. this baby however is out of control sometimes and you can see almost every movement that she makes. jared says it looks like i have an alien in there trying to escape out of my skin. and we can see and feel her little hands or feet when she pokes them out.
we are definitely excited for this little girl to get her.
from our 28 week ultrasound. she was facing back and wouldn't budge so the only picture we got was of her little foot.

this morning jace woke up crying and yelled from his bed: "there's something in my nose and it can't breath!"
he was a little hysterical. it was just a booger.
on the way to walmart tonight jace told me: "we don't have any no's to say, mom, just toys to buy."

Our family Christmas letter and picture...
Merry Christmas!!
Just a quick note to let you know how we are doing.
Jared is still working as an engineer. He enjoys the company and the people he works with. Work has slowed down because of the economy and sometimes that makes the days long but we are just grateful that he still has a job. He spent the summer working on his golf game and taking care of his family while I was sick on the couch.
I feel like I spent most of the year being pregnant. I think we are all ready for this little girl to get here so that I can function at a normal level again. We feel very blessed that we were able to get pregnant and so far have had a healthy normal pregnancy. It will be fun and an adjustment to have a little baby in the house again.
Besides being pregnant, I have had fun playing with Jace and watching him grow, reading lots of good books, taking lots of pictures and spending time with family this year.
Jace is a rambunctious 3 year old that fills our lives with laughs, fun times and an occasional temper tantrum. He is excited to become a big brother and has big plans for everything he is going to teach her. His favorite things right now are playing with friends, his Cars cars, his trains, reading books and learning as much as he can about the world around him. He amazes us every day as I’m sure every child does for their parents.
Life has been good to us and we continue to thank our Father in Heaven for the blessings he pours down on us. We hope this letter finds you well and happy. We are grateful for the many friends and family that bless our lives.
Happy Holidays!!
Jared, Jeannie and Jace
