swinging + singing
i don't know if i've wrote about this before but one of jace's favorites is swinging. if we go to a park with swings that is what he does. i really think he could swing for hours. i'll admit, sometimes i purposefully go to a park without swings. i just get tired of pushing, that's all.
he has recently taken up the art of swinging and singing. singing at the top of his lungs whatever pops into his head. one day it was the snowboard song and the car song. another day he sang the story of the three little pigs.
oh and he had is first collision with a pedestrian. the little girl walked right in front of him. i knew it was going to happen, i just couldn't stop him fast enough. he came out of it with a nice bruise on his forehead.

Colliding with a passerby is just another one of those steps in life! Looks like he has a lot of fun, I agree with the pushing. Love swings but get tired of pushing after a while.
I was never so happy as when my kids learned to "pump". Alyssa still loves to swing and sing. She was going to get in the shower yesterday and told me to close the window so the neighbors wouldn't hear her singing. I told her they hear her singing outside on the swing all the time. She informed me that people listening to you sing in the "shower" was completly different.
Not gonna lie, that's totally one of my favorite pastimes too. Maybe one of these days Jace and I will have a swinging and singing party, although I doubt I can make up songs quite as good as he does. He is such an awesome kid, we love him!
